2009-2023
Family above all else
Dilute was started by a family who worked in the cleaning industry for over 15 years. From 2009 to 2023, they saw firsthand the everyday life of the industry, the challenges and opportunities - and above all, the enormous amount of plastic waste the cleaning industry produces every day.
With a long experience, the feeling grew that something had to change. This realization ignited the desire to build a cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable way to clean. Thus began the journey that laid the foundation for Dilute.
2024
The birth of Dilute
In 2024, the family decided to take a decisive step and leave behind traditional methods that no longer felt right. They began developing a purification system that would eliminate single-use plastic and stop transporting unnecessary water.
An innovation was born quickly: water-soluble paper sachets containing a cleaning concentrate. The sachet is dropped into a bottle with cold water — and an effective, non-toxic, vegan cleaner is created. This idea grew into Dilute, a brand that wants to clean up the entire industry.
2025
Cleaning products that don't need to be hidden
Dilute’s holistic vision goes far beyond a single product. Sustainability is at the heart of our operations, and it shows in every choice: biodegradable materials, plastic-free solutions and processes that reduce transportation and carbon footprint. From raw materials to logistics, we strive to minimize environmental impact without compromising on efficiency. Today, Dilute is an international home care brand whose vegan and safe products make cleaning more beautiful, effortless and responsible — for home and professionals.
Durable bottle
Only about 5% of plastic ends up in the recycling bin. Even plastics with a recycling symbol often don’t get reused. That’s why we created reusable bottles that are designed to last and be refilled over and over again. They’re made to last a lifetime and engineered to be truly 100% recyclable. Sustainability should be simple.
Packing
Most cleaning products contain up to 90% water. That means we’ve been transporting heavy bottles around the world for years for nothing. Our solution is to eliminate the water entirely. By focusing on the seals, we not only reduce plastic consumption but also significantly reduce emissions from production and transportation.
Materials
Traditional cleaning and care products are almost always packaged in plastic, which can release microplastics into the products themselves. Our solution is a system that eliminates the need for plastic bottles altogether.

We asked why we transport heavy plastic bottles around the world, bottles that are mostly filled with water. The actual cleaning agent in the water is only a fraction.
That simple realization led to the creation of small, water-soluble, biodegradable, vegan, and plastic-free laundry detergent bags .
