Ingredients
Dilute products are based on biotechnology. The formulas of our cleaning agents break down dirt and odors naturally.
We develop our formulas with biotechnology experts and chemists using carefully selected raw materials that meet the strict safety and quality requirements set for cleaning products. This ensures that our products are effective, yet gentle on everyday surfaces.
All our products are safe for people and pets when used as directed. All Dilute products are vegan and cruelty-free.

Biological composition
Our cleaning agents are based on biological cleaning, which means they use naturally derived ingredients and processes that nature itself uses to break down dirt and organic matter.
Traditional cleaning agents often work by dissolving and removing dirt with strong chemicals. While effective, repeated use can wear down surfaces, fade materials, and leave residues that cause dirt to re-adhere more quickly.
Biological cleaning works differently. It structurally breaks down dirt into smaller particles, making it easier to remove and keeping surfaces clean for longer. The cleaning is deeper and more long-lasting, while also being gentler on surfaces, you, and your home's indoor air quality.
In collaboration with biotechnology experts and chemists, we develop our formulations using carefully selected raw materials that meet the stringent safety and quality requirements set for cleaning products. This ensures that our products are effective yet gentle on surfaces.
We chose the biological cleaning method because it enables effective cleaning without harsh chemicals. It reduces the chemical burden in the home, doesn't leave residue on surfaces, and helps keep surfaces in better condition even with repeated use.

A bottle that lasts
Most cleaning products contain up to 90% water . That means we’ve been transporting heavy bottles around the world for years for nothing. Our solution is to eliminate the water entirely. By focusing on the seals, we not only reduce plastic consumption but also significantly reduce emissions from production and transportation.
Glossary
List of all terms used
Aluminium
Origin: infinitely recyclable and corrosion-resistant
A lightweight but durable material with a low environmental impact when reused. Used in refill packs and structural parts due to its durability and recyclability.
Amylase (Amylase)
Type: enzyme
Origin: produced by bacteria
Breaks down starch, such as food residues.
Biological purification
Cleaning that is based on natural biological processes, such as the action of microbes and enzymes, and breaks down dirt and odor-causing agents at their source.
Biological process
A natural process in which microorganisms and the enzymes they produce break down organic dirt and odor-causing substances into smaller components.
Biotechnology
It utilizes microorganisms and their enzymes for cleaning power. In biotechnology, dirt and odors are broken down by biological processes directly at their source.
Biodegradable
Breaks down naturally over time without harming the environment. Often made from renewable, plant-based raw materials.
D-glucopyranose
Type: sugar-based raw material
Origin: plant-based glucose
Acts as a building block in the production of mild and biodegradable cleansing ingredients.
Decyl and octyl glycoside
Type: non-ionic surfactant
Origin: vegetable sugars and plant-based fatty alcohols
Gently remove dirt and grease from surfaces.
Disodium salt
Type: composition-stabilising form
Origin: sodium-neutralised ingredients
They improve solubility and help to keep the composition stable.
Ecotechnology
Utilizing plant-based, biodegradable ingredients made from renewable raw materials instead of traditional chemicals, to ensure cleaning is as effective as possible while being safer for the environment and waterways.
Cruelty-free
Neither the products nor their ingredients have been tested on animals.
Enzymes
Type: biotechnological cleaning ingredient
Origin: enzymes produced by bacteria
Breaks down dirt into smaller particles, so it can be effectively removed without harsh chemicals.
Fermentation
A biological process in which microorganisms transform plant-based raw materials into new ingredients that are utilized more efficiently and sustainably in cleaning products.
Fragrance (Parfum)
Type: Fragrance Blend
Origin: Essential oils and safe synthetics
Formulated with essential oils and safe synthetics for fragrance, not just to mask odors.
Non-ionic surfactant
A gentle cleansing ingredient with no electrical charge. This makes it more skin-friendly and often a gentler alternative for the environment.
Laboratory-produced
Produced under controlled conditions to ensure safety, consistency, and minimal environmental impact, often mimicking natural processes.
Lipase
Type: enzyme
Origin: bacterial
Breaks down fat, oil, and other greasy dirt.
Natural origin
Originating from nature, plants, minerals, or fermentation, and manufactured with minimal synthetic processing.
Microbes
Type: biotechnological cleaning ingredient
Origin: naturally occurring, safe microorganisms
They break down organic dirt, grease, and odor-causing substances deep within surfaces, form a protective biofilm, and continue their cleaning action even after cleaning has finished.
Non-toxic
Does not contain harmful or dangerous substances. All ingredients have been chosen to be safe for both humans and the environment.
Sodium Carbonate (Sodium Carbonate)
Type: alkaline cleaning ingredient
Origin: mineral-based or naturally derived
Boosts cleaning and helps remove grease and stubborn dirt.
Oligomer
Type: texture and structure component
Origin: compounds formed from plant-based raw materials
They improve the texture and structure of the composition and help the product to function smoothly.
Protease
Type: enzyme
Origin: produced by bacteria
Breaks down protein-based dirt, such as food and skin cell residues.
Citric acid
Type: pH adjuster
Origin: fermented sugar (corn or sugar beet)
Balances the pH of the product and supports its shelf life and structural stability.
Cellulase
Type: enzyme
Origin: produced by bacteria
Breaks down plant-based dirt and fibers.
Spray head
Type: composite material (PP)
Origin: designed to withstand multiple refills
A reusable dispensing system where functionality and design meet. Reduces waste and encourages long-term use.
Free enzymes
Enzymes are added directly to the formulation.
These so-called free enzymes boost cleaning immediately at the beginning of use and provide a rapid effect before microbial activity commences.
Vegan
Does not contain animal ingredients or animal by-products.
Low aquatic toxicity
The ingredients have been chosen to minimize their impact on aquatic organisms.
Renewable raw materials
Raw materials derived from renewable sources, such as plants or fermentation.
