We wanted the cleaner to be as versatile as possible, so you wouldn't need a whole row of different bottles for cleaning.
Removes stains
Don't let the name fool you, this doesn't have to be left only in the kitchen. The kitchen cleaner also works well on various textile stains, whether on clothes, carpets, or sofas.
Spray on the stain or a cloth, let it sit for a moment, and wipe away. For washable textiles, you can also use it before washing. For delicate materials, it's advisable to test it first on an inconspicuous area.
And it also cleans paintbrushes very well.
Refillable
A typical cleaning product bottle mostly transports water, and when the product runs out, the bottle often goes with it.
We did this differently. Our refill contains what is actually needed in a cleaning product, and you add the water yourself. The small, pre-dosed refill dissolves in water, and the same bottle can be refilled again and again.
Refills take up only a fraction of the space of ready-made bottles, making them easier to transport and store.

What surfaces can the kitchen cleaner be used on?
The kitchen cleaner is suitable for all hard surfaces, such as countertops, stovetops, cabinet doors, backsplash tiles, sinks, the exterior surfaces of appliances, and other surfaces that accumulate grease, food stains, and dirt. In addition, it can be used for stain removal, for example, on textiles before washing, and for floor cleaning.
If the surface is particularly delicate or you are unsure about the material, test the product first on a small, inconspicuous area.
The product is fragrance-free and also suitable for surfaces that come into contact with food. Rinsing is not required.
How long does one bottle of Kitchen Cleaner last?
One refill sachet makes 650 ml of ready-to-use cleaning solution. How long one bottle lasts depends on how often you clean and how much product you use at once.
Is the Kitchen Cleaner fragrance-free?
Yes! No fragrance has been added to the kitchen cleaner.
Is Kitchen Cleaner a disinfectant?
No. A kitchen cleaner is designed to remove dirt, grease, and food residues, not to disinfect surfaces.
For regular household cleaning, cleaning is usually sufficient. If disinfection is specifically required, a product designed for that purpose should be used.

What does the starter pack include?
In the starter pack, you get one refillable spray bottle and two refill pouches. One refill pouch makes 650 ml of ready-to-use cleaning solution, meaning the pack provides a total of 1.3 liters of cleaning solution.
Is Kitchen Cleaner biodegradable?
Yes. The composition is biodegradable and utilises ingredients of natural origin as well as ingredients derived from fermentation.
Should the surface be rinsed after use?
No need. Spray, wipe and allow to dry. No rinsing required for normal use.
Can kitchen cleaner be used on textile stains?
Yes, and this is one of our own favorite uses.
Spray a small amount on the stain before washing, let it sit for a moment, and then wash the textile normally according to its own washing instructions. As with all textile products, it is advisable to first test on an inconspicuous area for delicate materials.
Can kitchen cleaner be used on floors?
Yes. Add one refill pouch to about five liters of cold water and use for regular floor mopping.
The formula is designed to remove greasy dirt too, so it's very suitable for kitchen floors, for example.
How much cleaner does one refill pouch make?
One refill sachet makes 650 ml of ready-to-use Kitchen Cleaner, which is a full bottle.

Can it be used on food preparation surfaces?
Yes. Kitchen cleaner can be used, for example, on countertops, dining tables and other surfaces that come into contact with food. Wipe the surface clean as usual after use.
How long does the prepared cleaning solution last?
The prepared cleaning solution will last for about six months if stored at room temperature or in a cool place. The quality and purity of the water used can also affect its shelf life.
If you notice changes in the product's color, smell, or consistency over time, empty the bottle, rinse it thoroughly, and prepare a new batch.
If the solution is left unused for a long time, some sediment may form at the bottom of the bottle. This is normal. Shake the bottle before use to ensure the solution is evenly mixed again.
How do I keep the spray nozzle working?
The spray head should always be rinsed thoroughly when refilling the bottle, and the nozzle wiped with a damp cloth occasionally. This prevents cleaning agents from accumulating in the nozzle over time.
If the spray ever starts to dispense poorly, rinse the spray head with warm water and carefully clean the nozzle opening, for example, with a small stick. Usually, this will quickly get it working again.
Can I use my own spray bottle?
Yes, you can, as long as the bottle is the correct size (650ml). With our bottle, the water amount is pre-measured for ease, so refilling is possible without extra measuring.
Why is the cleaner in powder form?
A typical ready-to-use cleaning product is mostly water, which is transported to your home in its own bottle. The water makes the product heavier to transport, and each new bottle requires new packaging.
With Dilute, we omit the water, and you add it yourself from the tap at home. This way, instead of a new cleaning product bottle, only a small refill pouch needs to be delivered to your home, and the same bottle can be reused.
Do I need to open the refill pouch?
No. Put the whole sachet into water as is.
The sachet is designed to dissolve completely, so there's no need to open it or measure out the powder yourself. Just put the sachet in the bottle, add water, and shake.
Why is cold water used?
Because the biological composition does not like hot water.
Water that is too hot can destroy the product's biological active ingredients, which also compromises their cleaning power. Therefore, the refill pouch is always mixed with cold water.
Is Dilute® vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes. All Dilute® cleaning products are vegan and not tested on animals.

Is Dilute safe in a home with children and pets?

I’ve been using this in my kitchen, and it works really well. It cleans stains and grease off of everything whether it’s metal, plastic, or wooden countertops. What I like most is that it’s fragrance free, so it doesn’t have that harsh “chemically” smell when I’m cleaning. Ostin nämä kun kerrottiin, että korvaa toisen tuotteen, jota olen ennen käyttänyt mm. tahranpoistoon. Puhdistin pinttyneen sohvankulman tahrat Diluten keittiöllä. Ei ole lähtenyt kunnolla pois millään aineella, joten tosi tyytyväinen!!

Ostin Finncleanmessuilta pullon kokeiltavaksi, keittiössä hoitanut niin liesituulettimen kuin keraamisen lieden hienosti mutta suurin yllätys tuli aivan muussa käytössä. Taloudessa 4 sisäkissaa joiden jäljiltä karvapallopurjot ovat tulleet tutuiksi. Päätin kokeilla tätä niiden puhdistuksessa, suihkutin n. päivän vanhan ja kovettuneen kasan päälle tätä oikein reilulla kädellä -> annoin vaikuttaa ehkä 15sec ja suureksi yllätyksekseni sain muovimaton puhtaaksi melkein kertapyyhkäisyllä! Normaalisti näitä on saanut hinkuttaa enemmän ja vähemmän joten todella iso apu vallankin näin karvanvaihto aikaan
