Suomi tuhansien järvien maa. Suomen kaunis ja lumouttava luonto

Seikkailu suomalaisessa luonnossa

Our journey at Dilute is fueled by a deep connection to the environment. We’ve always believed that nature is the ultimate muse, and that’s why we’re constantly exploring to understand the true meaning behind it. Whether it’s the countryside or hidden green spaces in urban areas, these places shape our vision and drive us to create with purpose. To share our love for these landscapes, combined with our Finnish heritage, we’ve put together some tips to help you experience the natural beauty of the Finland just as we do.

CITY GARDENS

Hatanpään arboretum, Tampere

Located by the shores of Lake Pyhäjärvi, Hatanpää Arboretum is filled with blooming trees and shrubs. Its rose garden, lake views, and peaceful walking paths make it one of the most beloved green spaces in Tampere.

Winter Garden, Helsinki

Helsinki’s Winter Garden is a century-old greenhouse and a lush oasis in the heart of the city. Beneath its glass ceilings, tropical plants flourish, creating a serene atmosphere all year round. It’s the perfect place to pause and unwind amid the rhythm of everyday life.

Ainolan puisto, Oulu

Locally known as Hupisaaret, Ainola Park is a green oasis just steps from the center of Oulu. Streams, small bridges, and leafy paths create a gentle, nature-filled atmosphere in the heart of the city.

NATURAL PARKS

Malla Strict Nature Reserve, Kilpisjärvi

Located in the northernmost part of Finland, Malla Strict Nature Reserve lies within the rugged fell landscapes of Kilpisjärvi. It is one of the oldest protected areas in the country, known for its untouched wilderness, steep slopes, and the tranquil beauty of the fells. Visitors can explore designated trails surrounded by Malla’s pristine nature and the silhouette of Saana Fell. In summer, the area blooms with Arctic flowers and clear streams, while in winter, silence and snow create an almost meditative experience.

Vaskijärvi Strict Nature Reserve, Southwest Finland

Vaskijärvi Strict Nature Reserve and its surroundings form one of the largest wilderness-like areas in Southwest Finland. The reserve is named after Lake Vaskijärvi, which lies just outside its borders. Here, peace is almost unbroken — only the distant calls of cranes and the gentle hum of dragonflies break the silence.

Helvetinjärvi National Park, Ruovesi

Helvetinjärvi National Park is one of the most striking natural destinations in the Pirkanmaa region. Its dramatic gorges, dark lakes, and towering cliffs reveal a landscape shaped millions of years ago. Trails wind through pine forests and rocky ridges, opening to breathtaking views along the way. The park’s most famous sight, Helvetinkolu Gorge, offers a powerful sense of nature’s raw presence. Helvetinjärvi is a place of peace and solitude — perfect for stepping away from daily life and reconnecting with nature.

ART AND NATURE

Didrichsen Art Museum and Sculpture Park, Helsinki

Designed by architect Viljo Revell, the Didrichsen Art Museum seamlessly blends into the landscape between nature and the sea. In the museum’s sculpture park, art and the surrounding scenery coexist in harmony, creating a calm and timeless experience.

Chappe Art Museum, Tammisaari

Built on the shoreline of Tammisaari, Chappe is a modern art museum where light and space are an essential part of the experience. The sea visible through the windows becomes an extension of the artworks themselves.

Soiva Metsä (The Singing Forest), Mäntyharju

The Singing Forest is an art trail that uniquely combines sound, art, and nature. Along the path, visitors encounter sound sculptures and installations that come alive through wind, touch, or movement. Each piece is created in harmony with the surrounding forest, and the sounds blend seamlessly with nature’s own rhythm. The trail invites you to pause, listen, and experience the forest in a new way.
